5 Must-Dos To Make Social Media Easier

“What really decides consumers to buy or not to buy is the content of your advertising, not its form.” ~ David Ogilvy

This past weekend, I had the honor of speaking at IDEA WORLD; this conference is known as the Superbowl of the Fitness Industry. There is something so infectious about this 3-day event & I love presenting business strategy sessions each year. Sunday, I spoke about the 5 Do’s and Don’ts of Social Media.

Want a preview? Check out the slide deck here.

So what are the 5 truths I shared? Well, here is a brief overview!

1. Know Where to Fish

Not every social media platform is created equally – especially in demographics! Use your target client demographic platforms, even if it is not your personally preferred platform.

2. “Hack” the Systems

If you want your social media to impact your target market, you have to encourage engagement on all of your posts. Learn what engagements are the most important on the platform where you focus your efforts & create content that generates those actions.

3. Have a Strategy

Don’t try to create, craft, and post all in one swoop. Pre-plan your content, captions, and hashtags. Be strategic so that each post speaks to your message & brand.

4. Recycle, Reuse, Reduce, and Repurpose

If you created something magical last summer, guess what! It is still magical. For some reason, we as fitness professionals believe we have to make something incredible and then throw it away after one use. Whether it is a class, training session, social media post, or email to a client, if you spent time creating it – and it was great – recycle it. Use it again. Sure, maybe tweak it a bit, but then use it.

This topic is imperative to a successful business & vital to an entrepreneur’s toolkit! To help you find a more straightforward solution to creation, I am leading a 25-minute webinar this Thursday at 11:30 am ET to show you 25 ways to reuse the content you have already created!

Do you struggle to create new:

  • social media posts,
  • blogs,
  • emails,
  • offers,
  • classes,
  • training plans,
  • And programs?

Then this is the webinar for you! My “The Fitness of Your Business” webinar will show you how to recycle and repurpose your already created content.

For only $9.99, you will walk away with 25 easy-to-implement ideas to help you master the craft of repurposing your content.

Can’t make it live? That’s ok! Everyone will receive the recording afterward.

So, is it a date? Register here.

5. Have a Path to You

Use social media as a breadcrumb trail to entice people off of social media and to your website, where you can collect their contact information, educate them on your offerings, and sell your offerings.
